APPOINTMENTS

At Beyond Smiles Dentistry, your appointment times are scheduled specifically for your treatment needs to ensure we have enough time to provide you with the highest quality care. Should you require a change in your scheduled appointment time or treatment you wish to have completed, please ensure you provide a minimum of 2 business days’ notice. This allows other patients awaiting treatment to be accommodated. Beyond Smiles Dentistry reserves the right to charge a fee to your account for appointments broken in lieu of this notice.

PAYMENT

Please be advised that at Beyond Smiles Dentistry, payment is required on the day of treatment. If you have concerns regarding payment, please kindly contact our practice manager Sisca, before scheduling your next appointment to discuss your options.

Patients requiring extensive dental treatments will have a personalised treatment plan which your treating clinician will discuss with you in detail.

If you have private health insurance, please remember to bring your health fund card on the day of your appointment. HI-CAPS claims can be processed on the day for most health funds. If your health fund card is not present on the day, the account will need to be settled in full and you will be required to claim your rebate via your health fund provider.

INFECTION CONTROL

At Beyond Smiles Dentistry effective infection prevention and control are believed to be central to providing high-quality health care for all our patients. As such, we follow the strict guidelines which have been developed by the Dental Board of Australia under s. 39 of the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law. These guidelines apply to all dentists, dental prosthetists, dental hygienists, dental therapists, dental specialists and oral health therapists. These guidelines address how dental practitioners can prevent or minimise the risk of the spread of infectious diseases in the dental setting.
