$1052 WORTH OF DENTAL TREATMENT FOR YOUR CHILD
The Child Dental Benefits Schedule covers the cost of some basic dental services for your child/ren.
All eligible children between the ages of 2-17 years will be automatically notified by letter from the Department of Health and receive benefits up to $1,052 for basic dental services.
The benefit can be utilised over 2 consecutive calendar years from the date of first use.
The services include examinations, x-rays, cleaning, fissure sealing, fillings, root canals, extractions, and partial dentures.
Benefits are not available for orthodontic and cosmetic dental work.
There is no out of pocket expenses for eligible patients as Beyond Smiles Dentistry will bulk bill your child’s eligible treatment under the scheme.
Patients (parents/legal guardian/carer) please advise reception PRIOR to treatment that you may be eligible to submit a claim to Medicare for your child’s dental treatment.
Our practice is unable to provide amended invoices once services have been rendered (even if the advice provided by Medicare indicates otherwise).
