Dr Richard Thean graduated from The University of Melbourne with two degrees. He holds a Bachelor of Science with First Class Honours and a Bachelor of Dental Science. Since then he has been working in private practices in both regional Victoria and metropolitan Melbourne. Richard has over 20 years of experience in the dental profession and he continues to improve his skills and knowledge through numerous national and international specialty courses. Richard is a firm believer in providing dental treatments that utilises techniques and materials that have been proven effective in the dental field.

His special interests are in the rehabilitation and improvement of the dentition. He believes that through proper diagnosis, and comprehensive treatment coupled with patient education, many unpleasant and preventable dental emergencies can be prevented.

Minh Thuy Le graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2009 with a Bachelor’s Degree in the Oral Health Sciences. Since graduating she has spent time working in the community setting which has allowed her to work with individuals from a variety of demographic backgrounds. Minh Thuy continues to further her knowledge and interest in the Dental Sciences by regularly keeping up to date with her continued professional development. Minh Thuy is known to be very gentle with patients and is very enthusiastic about proactive prevention, minimal intervention dentistry and educating patients so they are able to maintain good oral hygiene. After all ‘If a patient cannot clean his teeth, no hygienist can clean them for him.’ Martin H. Fischer

In her own time, Minh Thuy enjoys going for long bike rides, keeping active, drawing, cooking and reading about anything from, nutrition and health to the occasional fiction or graphic novel.

Monique is a dedicated Oral Health Therapist who graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Oral Health Science from La Trobe University, Bendigo campus. Her education at La Trobe, Australia’s largest rural health school, equipped her with comprehensive skills in preventive and therapeutic dental care, particularly in rural and regional settings.

Since entering the profession, Monique has provided essential oral healthcare services, including diagnosing dental decay and gum diseases, performing routine dental treatments, and promoting oral health education. Her commitment to patient care extends beyond clinical practice, as she actively engages in community health initiatives and supports behavioral changes to improve oral hygiene.
With a focus on lifelong learning and professional development, Monique remains dedicated to enhancing her expertise and contributing to the oral health profession.

In her spare time, Monique enjoys spending quality time with her daughter, dogs, family and friends.
